Speaker Details:
1) Dr Kevin Lee, Orthopaedic Surgeon, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre
Dr Kevin Lee is a sports orthopaedic surgeon who is an active sportsman and cyclist. He has a special interest in sports injuries, cartilage repair techniques and joint replacements. He has been treating sports injuries and athletes for more than 15 years.
2) Dr Eric Hong, Cardiologist, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre
With dual specialty accreditation in nuclear and interventional cardiology, Dr Eric Hong is a heart specialist with personal interest in sports cardiology. His particular emphasis is on endurance athletes, and he works closely with runners, cyclists and triathletes.
3) Mr Low Ji Wen, Full-time cyclist & cycling coach
Singapore mens’ road cycling champion in 2009 & 2013, national athlete and coach Low Ji Wen has been cycling full-time in UCI Asia Tour races for more than 5 years. In 2014, he stayed injury-free while clocking over 6000km of racing in Asia, Africa and Australia.
4) Dr Low Wye Mun, Sports Physician, Pacific Healthcare Specialist Centre
Dr Low has been involved in cycling & triathlon for more than 10 years. He is Medical Director of the Bintan Triathlon, Metaman Long Distance Triathlon, and Tour De Bintan. He writes and speaks regularly on sports injuries with a special interest in self pain management & prevention.
