Dominic Cruz battling torn ACL in right knee

Dominick Cruz, the former UFC bantamweight champion has battled nagging hand injuries in the past and has undergone anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) surgery on his left knee twice.

The latest blow: a torn ACL in his right knee. Cruz, 29, sounded relatively upbeat describing the injury on Tuesday, however, calling it a “quick fix” compared to the other setbacks he has overcome. He will be back — count on that. Read about his last obstacle.
