Ride For Rations 2015
In this year's Ride For Rations 2015, Dr Kevin Lee and Pinnacle Joint & Sports Centre were one of the sponsors. Ride For Rations is an annual charity cycling event organised by Bike-Aid Singapore. Bike-Aid Singapore is a non-profit organisation fully managed by volunteers who are enthusiastic cyclists or individuals from different walks of life. They share the same passion for helping those in need of help and wants to alleviate their sufferings through cycling and related activities.
Ride For Rations charity cycling event aims to raise funds to provide basic monthly food rations to needy households living in one-room rental flats registered with the Sunlove Home’s Neighbourhood Links in Marsiling, Chai Chee and Hougang. Sunlove Neighbourhood Link is an outreach of Sunlove Abode for Intellectually Infirmed, a charitable home for the intellectually-disabled.
Dr Kevin Lee also participated as one of the cyclists in Ride For Rations 2015, whilst clinic manager Edmond Velasco was one of the event medics. Dr Lee expresses his gratitude to all friends and patients who have also donated to this cause.
If you have yet to contribute to this meaningful cause, you can still do so via our GIVEasia portal or cheques written out to Bike-Aid (Singapore) and mail it to our clinic address. A mere donation of $25 can pay for a child's breakfast for a month, and $70 can provide for a household basic ration for a month.
