Under the auspices of the Singapore Shoulder & Elbow Society, Dr Andy Wee, from the Pinnacle Orthopaedic Group, has been tasked to organise and instruct at the upcoming inaugural elbow arthroscopy cadaveric course.
This is the first elbow arthroscopy cadaveric course to be held in Singapore and the South East Asia region, and the Singapore Shoulder & Elbow Society warmly invite all arthroscopic enthusiasts and surgeons in the region to join us!
Arthroscopy is a minimally invasive keyhole surgery that orthopaedic surgeons perform to treat intra-articular joint disorders and injuries. While shoulder and knee arthroscopic surgery is commonly performed by most arthroscopic and sports surgeon, elbow arthroscopy is less commonly performed.
Elbow arthroscopy is effective in treating problems like tennis elbow, osteochondral injuries, symptomatic plica, elbow impingement and elbow stiffness.
